Summer is a focused event professional. Her specialty lies in corporate events, interactive experiences and event management. Over the last decade, Summer has planned and executed hundreds of events ranging from large-scale conventions, themed holiday parties to intimate networking dinners and everything in between. Her creativity, attention to detail, organizational skills and passion for planning, ensures the success of every event she’s a part of. 

The value Summer brings to the industry and the positive environment she cultivates with her peers, is why she has established such strong relationships and memorable event experiences for her clients. Summer expertly mentors her team, spearheads the strategy and creative thinking that goes into each client proposal. Summer has worked with brands across every industry, such as RBC, TD, Ellis Don, Swarovski, Sysco, CPA, and many more... 

Summer began her career in 2012 working on weddings with bb Blanc where she realized her love for planning, logistics, and all the little details that make a spectacular event. From there, she was recruited by Encore Canada (formerly known as Freeman AV Canada), where she planned corporate and social events for 6 years. 

In 2023, Summer opened her own business and became the owner of  

EVENTive Planning by Summer Inc. With the intentions and goals of continuing her journey...creating “innovative experiences” for each and every one of her client events. 

Thanks to her innate ability to find solutions and get things done quickly, there is no challenge too big or too small for her and her team.  

When Summer isn’t planning amazing events, you’ll find her working up a sweat at the gym, on nature walks, enjoying time with friends or spending time with her family; husband Petter and 2 children, Avia & Stefano.
